Visiting Buffy, Scott & Karlie!

We decided to ride the motorcycles up to Ontario, OR to visit with Buffy, Scott and Karlie over the Labor Day Weekend. Had a great time - Karlie is getting old enough to do things with! Karlie is quite the ham when the camera is on! Grandma Barbie got some exercise pushing Karlie across the grass really fast several times!
Eating popsicles on the deck
Karlie was also entertained us with her singing (click on the video).
During the clip, watch her say "It's moving!"
It's too funny!

Grandma heard Karlie needed some dress-up clothes - so I packed a little care package and brought this with us. Karlie had fun with the feather boa all weekend!

Karlie had to sit on Grandpa's motorcycle....

And then she had to sit on Grandma's!

Here is another video - Karlie and Grandpa were dancing. Danny said it brought back a lot of memories of dancing with Buffy when she was little!

We made a trip to Boise to take Karlie to the zoo - had a great time watching Karlie see all the animals! At the end of the day, we were all tired.Big tiger!Took a break for lunch - and Karlie had her first taste of cotton candy. Oooh! Sticky!!!For more pics of Karlie dressing up and at the zoo , check out the link to Buffy's blog in the column to the right!

Hot August Nights!

Every August the classic cars come to Reno for a week of festivities called "Hot August Nights". All the casinos have cars to view and contests for the best. The old Thunderbird
This is one of Danny's favorites
And this one too!
This looks like my first car in Arizona!

My favorite is still the old Ford Mustang but I think my dad likes his new one better!!

Busy, Busy, Busy

During the last two months, we have been on the go just about every weekend. It's been kinda nice not having to work overtime on Saturdays and being able to enjoy ourselves.

We went to four of Mark's races - he didn't have a very good season this year. He has been busy on a couple of fires and didn't have a lot of time to fix his car - it was losing water from the radiator. Here are a few pics and videos from the race during Fair week - it is the race with the most cars all season. Twenty or more cars started in the Main event. Mark is the blue car with white "3".

Here are a couple more pics from another race.

He finally got his car running on the last race on the last night of racing!! Oh well, at least he will be ready for next year!!

A Visit From Buffy, Scott and Karlie

Buffy, Scott and Karlie came for a short visit in July on their way home from Las Vegas. It was a short visit but we loved having them!

Here is Grandpa filling up the pool he bought for Karlie's visit.

My precious Karlie!
