For Memorial Weekend, we went to Winnemucca, NV for the Run-A-Mucca motorcycle rally. Winnemucca is about 250 miles from Susanville and it took us 5 hours to get there. As you can see a couple of side streets were lined with vendor and food booths.
In the center of the rally was an old motorcycle on top of a wooden pedestal. This was for Saturday night's entertainment - just like the Burning Man fesitival, but it was the Burning Bike!
Another main attaction was the stunt bike riders. They would ride up the far ramp as fast they could, do their stunt in the air and land back down on the close ramp.

Here's a video!

Here's another video!
Time for a break!
Look Mom! No hands!! I don't think I could do this!!
Here's the best video - four bike jumpers at once! There were two evening rock concerts - we went to listen to Skynard Lynard, an imitation band of Lynard Skynard.
They are very good. We had seen them at a few other motorcycle rallys and in Susanville. One gutiarist started with the band when he was 16 and just learning!
During the concert, kerosene was poured all over the bike and lit. We could all feel the heat even though we were over 100 feet away!

Now, that was quite a fire show! Can't wait to go back next year!
