Princess Karlie and the Disney Princesses

I love entering contests and when I heard that the local news channel was giving away sets of 4 tickets for Disney's Princesses on Ice Tour in Reno, NV to caller #22, I knew I just had to try! I was so suprised when I heard I had won! Then next evening, we called Buffy to see if Buffy and Karlie wanted to fly down for the show. We were able to work all the details out and the countdown was on! I am not sure who was more excited...Buffy, Karlie or Me! They flew in Thurday morning and us girls did some shopping. We all bought new purses, including Karlie! Then we went to Buffy's hotel to rest and to change Karlie into her "princess dress". All day long Karlie kept asking if the princesses could come to her house!
I think she is ready to go!Not sure why the frown - maybe she was just impatient to go!First we went to dinner ...we ate and Karlie took a nap! It was a good thing she took a nap. It was a long day and we knew the evening would be long too!We took pictures while we waited for the show to start. We couldn't believe all the little girls who were wearing princess costumes or just dressed up in long dresses! When the show started, Karlie eyes were sooo big and her mouth was open! I enjoyed watching the expressions on her face!Princess Jasmine from Aladdin's Lamp Here's a video to watch

Ariel from Little Mermaid - not a very good picture - but I wanted to include it anyway because Ariel is Karlie's favorite princess!Snow White and the Seven DwarfsBelle and Beast from Beauty and the BeastPrincess Aurora from Sleeping Beauty Here is another video to watch - in each story line, the princess had just fallen to sleep and now all the princesses were be woken at the same time.

At intermission time, Grandpa went to buy some souvniers....a princess crown that lights up....

...An Ariel doll......and if you look closely, a tiny necklace with Ariel on it!The second half of the show was the story of CinderellaThis picture isn't very good either - it doesn't do the carriage justice. The carrage was all lit up and just beautiful! Here the duke is asking all the princesses in the audience to try on the glass slipper too!And the Grand Finale....all the princesses dance with their princes! And they all lived happily ever after!!!

It was a wonderful day and one that will always be a special memory to us!
