Making Magic Reindeer Food With My Granddaughter!

One of Grandma Barbie's secret recipes is Magic Reindeer Food. I told Karlie we would make Magic Reindeer Food the next time she came over. As soon as she walked in the door, she said "Lets make magic reindeer food". She loves to cook and she was so excited to make it!I always make it for the girls at work, for a few of the girls that work with Danny at the courthouse, and now for Karlie!Adding some oatmeal and chocolate chips!The cooks get to sample the chocolate chips too!Adding some coconutThen the fun part is adding the glitter!The story is - you sprinkle the food every couple of feet leading to your front door. The reindeer see the sparkles and help bring Santa and his toys to your house!Interesting combination! Of course once you add the glitter, the little ones can't eat it!And a little bit messy - but that's what makes it fun! And Karlie is allowed to make messes in Grandma's kitchen!Glitter is fun to play in too!Look at my hands! It sticks!Next Grandma seals all the bags and Karlie gets to mix it thoroughly!
